1. Nature of the Platform

Lifecycle operates a digital health access and technology platform that enables users to discover, connect with, and communicate with independent, licensed healthcare professionals.

Lifecycle: does not provide medical care or clinical services does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe does not employ healthcare professionals does not control or influence clinical decision-making All medical services are provided solely by independent healthcare professionals, who are responsible for their own licensing, professional conduct, medical decisions, and compliance with applicable law.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, unless access for a minor is permitted by law and facilitated by a parent, legal guardian, or healthcare professional. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts and access

3.1 User accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account

You must notify Lifecycle immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

3.2 Provider accounts

Healthcare professionals using the Platform must:

  • Hold valid and current licenses in their jurisdiction
  • Comply with applicable professional, regulatory, and ethical obligations
  • Accept and comply with the applicable Provider Agreement and policies

Lifecycle may perform credential verification for onboarding purposes but does not supervise, direct, or control clinical practice.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions grant access to platform functionality only, including account features, scheduling tools, messaging infrastructure, and continuity features.

Subscriptions do not include medical services. Healthcare professionals may charge separately for their services under their own terms.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Lifecycle does not store full payment card details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or qualifications
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with Platform security
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Use the Platform to provide unlicensed or unlawful medical services

Lifecycle may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

6. No medical advice or emergency use

The Platform is not intended for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. Information made available through the Platform does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

7. Data protection and privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Lifecycle acts as a technology provider and as a data processor or limited joint controller, depending on the context of processing. Healthcare professionals act as independent data controllers for any medical or clinical data they process.

8. Intellectual property

All software, content, design elements, trademarks, and logos on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Lifecycle. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

9. Third-party services and providers

The Platform may include links to third-party services or content.

Lifecycle does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, healthcare professionals, or external websites. All interactions between users and healthcare professionals occur solely between those parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifecycle disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Lifecycle is not liable for clinical outcomes, medical decisions, or provider conduct Lifecycle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages Lifecycle's total liability is limited to the amount paid by you to Lifecycle in the 12 months preceding the claim Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lifecycle harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law

13. Suspension and termination

Lifecycle may suspend or terminate access:

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to the Platform or Terms

Lifecycle may modify the Platform or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
